16th European Corporate Governance Conference - Riga, 13 May 2015


The Latvian Minister for Justice, Dzintars Rasnačs, and the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union are pleased to announce the 16th European Corporate Governance Conference which will take place at the prestigious University of Latvia in Riga on Wednesday 13 May 2015.

This Conference will bring together decision makers from the public and private sector to discuss how corporate governance can be used as a tool to enhance growth and competitive advantage across the European Union. The programme will include both plenary presentations and panel debates around recent developments in the field of corporate governance at an international level, emerging trends and innovations in the use of digitalization as well as topical issues for investors, Boards and audit commitees.

Speakers will include high-level representatives from the Latvian government, the OECD and the European Commission as well as investors, Board members, audit committee chairs, regulators and other individuals from the private and public sectors. The Conference will be followed by a networking reception for all speakers and participants.
